Description

If you like to run, snowshoe or just hang out in the snow the Woolly Woolly is for you. This shoe is one of my favorites. The Upper is made of the finest Northwest wool, lined with fleece then mounted to our polyurethane sole. Nothing works like wool to keep your toes warm and cozy. Pair these up with a nice pair of farm to feet wool socks and you're ready to play in the snow. These are perfect for snowshoeing or adding traks depending on the traction needed, so much nicer than a bulky boot. As with all our shoes, these are built to order and =take about 10 days from order to shipping.

Built with a zero-drop, 10mm, polyurethane midsole/outsole with a light, flexible upper. Includes a 6mm wool lined sockliner for ultimate comfort and added protection. All of our shoes are made to order by hand, with love, in beautiful Milwaukie, Oregon.

Aggressive 12/12 sole now available in most sizes!

I have had these shoes for a little over a month and they are fantastic.
    Pros:
-Wide toe box. I can wear my correct toes and still have plenty of room
-Toe Box volume is such that it does not impede toe flexion or overall plantar and dorsiflexion.
-The 12/12 tread sheds wet snow and provides adequate grip on ice and snow, while still being very flexible.
-Cold does not penetrate through the sole or foot bed even in single digit (Fahrenheit) temperatures.
-The picture down plays how nice these shoes look. Not a hint of “clown shoe” shape in the design.
-After a couple hundred hours of wear there is no hint of the sole separating or any of the stitching coming loose. I have had many minimalist shoes in the same price range as these that have completely fallen apart under the same circumstances.
    Cons:
-Wind rips through wool in general, these shoes are no exception. Wet snow coupled with wind chill made for cold feet.
Conclusion: These shoes are rugged, functional, and stylish. Carson Footwear has a new customer.
