The Standard Issue was originally designed to be issued to new military recruits: one dependable training shoe built for daily miles, hard workouts, rough terrain, and whatever came next. That mission is where the name came from.

Then COVID hit. The contract was abandoned, plans changed, and Carson Footwear had to fight to survive.

We did.

Now the Standard Issue is finally available to everyone—and you do not have to join the Army to get one of the best American-made training shoes ever built.
